FRELUX User Guide: How to Use Every Calculator and Feature

The complete guide to using FRELUX, the construction estimation platform. Learn how to calculate paint, screeding, tiling and POP ceiling quantities, estimate whole buildings from foundation to roof, save projects, export PDF quotes and use the AI tools.

Getting Started

Three ways to start:

Units and Results

Enter measurements in metres or feet; results are always shown in metric units because materials are sold that way. Every result states the area it used, and waste allowance and rounding rules are shown on the result.

How Results Are Calculated

Cost Estimates and Prices

Cost estimates multiply quantities by prices: your own entered price first, then a verified market price for your region where one exists. FRELUX never invents a price; if none is available it tells you a price is needed.

Saving, Export and Projects

With a free account you can save any result to a project in My Projects, keep estimate history, export PDF quotes and share cost summaries. Saved estimates keep the exact numbers you saw at the moment of saving.

Safety

Structural, foundation and roof quantities are budgeting estimates. A qualified engineer must review and approve anything structural before you build. AI extracted dimensions must be confirmed by you; FRELUX refuses to calculate rather than inventing missing values.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an account to use FRELUX calculators?

No. All calculators are free to use with no sign-up required. A free account is only needed to save projects and estimate history.

Can I enter measurements in feet?

Yes. Pick metres or feet before you calculate and FRELUX converts internally. Results are always shown in metric units.

Where do FRELUX prices come from?

Your own entered price first, then a verified market price for your region where one exists. FRELUX tells you a price is needed instead of guessing.

Is FRELUX a substitute for a qualified engineer?

No. Structural, foundation and roof quantities are budgeting estimates. A qualified engineer must review and approve anything structural before you build.
